Viathorne Labs builds careful public foundations for accessibility, calmer digital work, and future sign-language support—beginning with ViaSign, a Singapore Sign Language research direction grounded in structure, visible uncertainty, and openness to future community guidance.
01 · Current work
A research direction toward future SgSL support, beginning with public safety contracts, natural-English surface analysis, visible review states, and careful downstream motion research. It is not an interpreter or official SgSL authority.
A spatial workspace direction for project memory, non-linear thinking, notes, files, prototypes, and AI context that should stay visible rather than disappear into scattered tools.
A cross-project commitment to Deaf access, lower cognitive load, clear structure, keyboard use, multiple communication paths, and honest limitations.
02 · Evidence
A separate motion-research lane explores turning inspectable sign plans into prototype movement packets and early 3D hand targets. It is not part of the current public parser and does not produce validated avatar signing. Unknown or uncertain output must remain visible for review.
03 · Working principles
Build small, inspectable layers before public demonstrations make the system appear more complete than it is.
The founder's Deaf and hard-of-hearing lived experience informs the current direction, while future community guidance should help shape the language and access layers.
Important information should remain available through clear text, structure, captions, transcripts, and voluntary future media.
