These Terms of Use explain how visitors may use the Viathorne website, public project materials, early prototypes, contact paths, and related pages.

An early research path toward future SgSL support, exploring grammar-aware structure, review flags, sign planning, and motion output.

A spatial workspace direction for project memory, non-linear thinking, markdown context, files, prototypes, and AI-assisted navigation.

Public pages, build logs, notes, articles, accessibility framing, and project explanations written to document the work as it grows.

Early work

Prototypes are not finished products.

Viathorne, ViaSign, Rooms, and related materials are in active development. Public pages, build logs, notes, demos, diagrams, examples, and prototypes may be incomplete, experimental, or changed later.

Do not rely on early project materials as official, complete, or guaranteed outputs. The work should be understood as research, prototyping, documentation, and public development unless stated otherwise.

ViaSign limits

ViaSign is not a replacement for human signing support.

ViaSign is early research toward future SgSL support. Its current public parser implements safety contracts, limited natural-English surface analysis, and visible uncertainty—not SgSL grammar or translation. It is not an interpreter, teacher, or official SgSL authority. It must not be used for legal, medical, safety-critical, or emergency communication and is not a substitute for Deaf community knowledge and human review.

Any future ViaSign output should be treated carefully, reviewed by humans, and never relied on in legal, medical, safety-critical, emergency, or other contexts where communication errors could cause harm.

Responsible use

What visitors should not do.

Use respectfully

Do not use the website, contact paths, or prototypes to harass, spam, harm, impersonate, or mislead others.

Do not misuse prototypes

Early prototypes, demos, notes, and examples should not be treated as finished products, official guidance, or guaranteed outputs.

Respect the work

Do not present Viathorne website materials, wording, designs, branding, or project concepts as your own. Public source code may be used only under its stated open-source license.

Keep feedback honest

If you send feedback, access concerns, examples, or community comments, do not knowingly submit false, harmful, or misleading information.

Unless otherwise stated, the website content, project names, wording, page structure, design direction, notes, prototypes, diagrams, and related materials are owned by or controlled by Viathorne.

You may link to public pages and discuss the work respectfully. Public viasign-parser software and original repository documentation may be used, copied, modified, and redistributed under the Apache License 2.0. That license does not grant rights in the ViaSign or Viathorne names and trademarks, website copy, branding, designs, SgSL itself, community knowledge, private sources, recordings, or personal data. Other Viathorne materials may not be copied, repackaged, resold, scraped, or presented as your own without permission.

Feedback

Feedback can help shape the work.

If you send feedback, suggestions, access concerns, examples, corrections, or community comments, Viathorne may use them to improve the website, project direction, accessibility approach, and prototypes.

Personal information in feedback should be handled according to the Privacy notice. Identifying details should not be shared publicly without permission.

Availability

The site may change or go offline.

Viathorne may update, remove, rename, redesign, or reorganize pages, prototypes, materials, links, demos, and project directions at any time.
